Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm
Contract: Term time only
Qualification: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team on a part-time, term-time basis.

The successful candidate will help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where young children can learn, play and develop. You will work closely with the nursery team to support children’s wellbeing, learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

Provide warm, caring and attentive support to children.

Support children through play, activities and everyday routines.

Help children develop their confidence, independence and social skills.

Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming nursery environment.

Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.

Observe children and support their learning and development.

Help prepare and take part in age-appropriate activities.

Encourage children to explore, learn and develop through play.

Work positively and cooperatively as part of the nursery team.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare, or working towards a recognised qualification.

Caring, patient and enthusiastic about working with young children.

Reliable, punctual and committed to their role.

Friendly and able to communicate well with children, families and colleagues.

Able to work well as part of a team.

Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.

Passionate about providing positive and enjoyable early years experiences.

Working pattern: 9:00am–1:00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.
