You’ll join a growing Sports department, delivering vocational programmes across Level 2 Sport and Level 3 National Diploma programmes in Sport, Fitness and Personal Training, with new sports facilities under development.
A salary of up to £20,000 per annum (up to £40,000 FTE) is available depending on qualifications and experience, alongside an attractive benefits package and generous holiday entitlement.
The role is part time , 18.5 hours per week, and based at a campus location within Surrey with good transport links from surrounding areas. Easily accessible from Woking, Ashford, Weybridge, Guildford, Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Epsom, Staines-upon-Thames and the wider Surrey area.
The Role...
- Deliver engaging, practical teaching across Sport and Fitness programmes.
- Assess and support learner progress.
- Maintain accurate learner and course records.
- Embed employability skills and prepare learners for employment or further study.
- Work collaboratively to provide an excellent learner experience.
About you ....
- You’ll hold relevant professional qualifications at Level 4 or above, with strong knowledge of Sport or Fitness.
- A Level 2 Gym Instructor or equivalent qualification is essential.
- A Level 3 Assessor/Verifier Award would be advantageous, or you’ll be willing to work towards one.
- Teaching or Further Education experience would be beneficial, but industry professionals looking to move into teaching are encouraged to apply.
- You’ll have excellent communication and IT skills and a genuine passion for supporting and motivating learners.
