Supply Desk are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Primary KS2 Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Harrow area, starting this September.

This full-time role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and keen to support pupils across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

You will provide classroom and learning support to pupils, helping them access the curriculum, develop their confidence, and achieve their full potential. The role will involve supporting individuals and small groups, assisting with classroom activities, and helping to maintain a positive and well-organised learning environment.

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to KS2 pupils
• Assist pupils with their learning across the primary curriculum
• Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials
• Encourage pupils to participate confidently in classroom activities
• Support pupils with developing their academic, social, and emotional skills
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Support pupils who may require additional help with their learning
• Assist with classroom routines, break times, lunchtimes, and school activities
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and the wider school team
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, inclusion, and positive behaviour
• Previous experience working with children is desirable
• Experience within a primary school or educational setting is advantageous
