A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Manager to join a growing and evolving organisation in a newly created, high-impact role.
This position offers the chance to take real ownership of logistics operations, driving structure, visibility and performance across an outsourced transport and warehousing model.

The Role
As Logistics Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end movement of goods, ensuring efficient coordination from order through to delivery.
You’ll play a pivotal role in managing third-party logistics providers, improving cost transparency and building robust processes within an environment that is still developing in maturity.
This is a highly visible role working across multiple functions, acting as the key link between commercial, operational and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with 3PL providers, hauliers and transport partners, ensuring performance against service levels
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics activity, including inter-site transfers and customer deliveries
  • Take ownership of logistics spend, driving cost control, budget management and identifying efficiency savings opportunities
  • Develop and implement reporting structures to improve visibility of logistics performance and costs
  • Act as the escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement
  • Build and implement processes and standard operating procedures to enhance operational control
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, production and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Lead and develop a small logistics team, driving engagement and performance
About You
  • Proven experience managing logistics operations, ideally within a 3PL or outsourced model
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and controlling transport spend
  • Confident people leader, able to develop and motivate a team
  • Experience improving processes and introducing structure in complex or evolving environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
