Logistics Operative

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Cardiff, has an exciting new opportunity for a Logistics Operator to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis due to continued business growth. This is a great opportunity for anyone with goods in or despatch experience.

The successful Logistics Operator should have:

• Previous experience working within a goods-in/goods-out or warehouse environment.
• Experience within a manufacturing or production setting.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing operational environment.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly.
• Good organisational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

In this role, the Logistics Operator will be responsible for:

• Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
• Assisting with the packaging, preparation and despatch of customer orders ready for carrier collection.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.
• Managing dry stores and supporting the movement of materials to the relevant departments.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe goods-in/goods-out area while ensuring all paperwork is distributed and filed appropriately.

Our client is offering the successful Logistics Operator a salary off over £26,000, plus a competitive benefits package and holiday allowance.
