Location: Southwark, London, SE15
Salary: £14.24–£15 per hour
Contract: Part-time, long-term temporary
Start date: 1 September 2026
Salary is based on experience and qualifications. Higher rates apply to candidates with significant experience and/or qualifications.
Transparency Education is recruiting an experienced Lunchtime Supervisor for a welcoming primary school in Southwark. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and can help create a safe, positive and well-organised lunchtime environment.
Key responsibilities
• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas.
• Encourage positive behaviour, good manners and safe play.
• Support pupils with lunchtime routines and promote independence.
• Respond calmly to minor incidents and report concerns to school staff.
• Follow the school’s safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures.
Requirements
• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare or community setting.
• A calm, caring and confident approach.
• Good communication, reliability and punctuality.
• A clear understanding of professional boundaries and safeguarding.
