Job Summary Machine Operator 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our client’s dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your expertise will contribute to the manufacture of high-quality products. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with advanced equipment and develop your skills in mechanical fabrication, materials handling, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various manufacturing machines in line with production requirements
• Set up machines accurately according to specifications
• Monitor machine operations continuously, making timely adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading, unloading, and organising raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse
• Maintain precise records of production activities, inspections, and maintenance logs to comply with safety and quality standards

Essential Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating manufacturing machinery
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic mathematical calculations for accurate measurements
• Understanding of safe materials handling procedures within a warehouse environment
• Ability to operate tooling equipment safely while following established health and safety protocols
• Experience with Zund and Kunsberg machines is advantageous

Salary and Shifts

Salary up to £38,000 per annum, with shift patterns including 6:00am–2:00pm, 2:00pm–10:00pm, and night shifts.
