- Producing monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentary
- Preparing financial reports, dashboards and KPI reporting to support operational and strategic decisions
- Managing month-end accounting activities including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and guidance to managers
- Acting as the Finance Business Partner, helping budget holders understand financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Delivering financial guidance and training to non-financial managers
- Preparing financial information for funding applications, grant reporting and reserves management
- Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practice
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance systems, controls and reporting processes
- A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or be working towards qualification
- Previous experience within a management accounting or finance business partnering role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience
