Role Title: Management Accountant
Type: Permanent - Part-Time 32 hours per week
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Hybrid: Office presence required
Location: Nottinghamshire
Sellick Partnership are working with a well-established organisation in Nottinghamshire who are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to support financial reporting, business planning and continuous improvement across the organisation.
The responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysis
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyse costs and identify efficiencies
- Produce financial reports for senior stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with audits and statutory reporting
- Support finance systems and process improvements
- Prepare VAT and other statutory returns
- Provide wider support across the finance function
The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant role will have:
- Fully qualified, part qualified or actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA or an equivalent qualification (qualified or part qualified candidates are preferred)
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- The ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting
- A proactive approach to improving processes
