We are currently recruiting for a Manual Grinding / Lathe Operator to join an industry leading engineering firm in Cardiff. This is a great opportunity to join as they begin to go through an impressive period of growth.

You will be responsible for machining parts to a high specification within specified tolerances.

Additional duties of the Manual Grinding / Lathe Operator:

· Ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner in line with the daily/weekly manufacturing schedule.

· Liaising with colleagues / other departments on a daily basis to make sure that parts are machined to plan and on time.

Main purpose of the role:

• Setting and running manual Lathes and Grinding machines
• Ensuring safety within the work area
• Meeting quality standards
• Liaising with other areas of the business as appropriate
• Operating other manual equipment
