Shift Patterns / Hours:

• Earlies:  Monday to Friday – 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Lates: Monday to Wednesday 2pm – midnight, 2pm – 11:30 (Thursday) Fridays OFF.

Ford & Stanley Talentwise are on the lookout for passionate and driven Mechanical Assemblers to drive forward the assembly and overhaul of rolling stock vehicles. Opportunity to join a worldwide well-renowned business.

What’s In It for You?

• You’ll be assembling and overhauling mechanical components to trains, to keep rolling stock moving.
• Completing mechanical repair and overhaul of various components; including brake systems, bogie components.
• To be able to strip a wide range of products within the braking system to the required
• Follows specifications and other appropriate instructions and/or procedures to accurately assemble components on a train using a variety of tools and equipment.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt quickly to new surroundings

You will have a background in heavy engineering and an Mechanical skillset.

Essentials:

• Ability to read and work to Mechanical Drawings
• High attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks well
• Able to use a variety of machines and hand tools
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Knowledge and experience in promoting safe working practices in a safety-critical workplace
• Able to maintain accurate records Desirables
• NVQ Level 2 or relevant professional experience
