Mechanical Engineer – Corporate Banking

£45,000 - £48,000 Basic Salary | Liverpool Street, London | Monday–Friday 7-4 & 10-7

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at a prestigious corporate banking building near Liverpool Street Station.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, stable site within a close-knit team of 4 engineers, working within a high-quality corporate environment in the heart of the City.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults across the building
• Maintain HVAC, heating, cooling, pumps and associated mechanical services
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns
• Complete maintenance records and relevant paperwork
• Work closely with the engineering team and client
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures

Working Hours

• Monday–Friday Rotating shifts:
• 7am–4pm & 10am–7pm
• 1 in 4 call-out rota
• £100 standby payment when on call

About You

We're looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in commercial buildings, facilities management or building services.

You should be technically strong, reliable and comfortable working within a professional, client-facing corporate environment.
