Media Makeup Internal Verifier in Widnes, Cheshire

Role: Internal Verifier Required - Media Makeup
Type: Temporary
£30 - £40 per hour 5 days

Eden Brown are currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Internal Verifier (IV) in Media Makeup to support a college based in Widnes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Media Makeup professional with a background in internal verification who is looking for some additional freelance work across the academic year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out internal verification activities, reviewing learner assessment decisions and ensuring that assessment practices are consistent, fair and meet the required awarding body standards.

Dates and Units Required
We require an Internal Verifier for the following five days, preferably full days.

10th November - unit 330
12th January - unit 335
8th February - unit 327
12th April - unit 316
26th May - units 323 & 340

Based in Widnes.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has relevant industry knowledge and experience within Media Makeup.
* Has experience of internal verification within a vocational or further education setting.
* Holds an appropriate IQA qualification or relevant internal verification experience.
* Has a good understanding of assessment processes, quality assurance requirements and awarding body standards.
* Can provide constructive feedback and support to assessors to maintain high-quality assessment practice.
Is organised, reliable and able to meet the required dates.

A DBS is also needed for this role.
