We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled MET Technician to join our client’s busy workshop in Benfleet, Essex. The successful MET Technician will be instrumental in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance services, contributing to a well-established team committed to excellence.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of up to £56,160 per annum
  • OTE of up to £60,000 per year
  • Hourly rate of £20 to £24 based on experience
  • 45 hours per week, with overtime opportunities

Duties:
  • Conducting repairs and servicing on various vehicle makes and models as an MET Technician
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
  • Using specialised equipment to undertake repairs and inspections
  • Ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards
  • Maintaining accurate job records and communicating effectively with team members
  • Advising customers on necessary repairs and service options
  • Supporting the workshop team to meet targets and maintain high standards of work
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician or Auto Electrician
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
  • Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A commitment to high standards of safety and quality
