Our client, a reputable main dealer group based in Preston, Lancashire, is currently recruiting for an MOT Technician to join their established team.   • Basic salary up to £35,000, dependent on experience

Duties of an MOT Technician:
  • Service and repair vehicles, including diagnostics
  • Conduct MOT tests alongside standard servicing
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety compliance
  • Effectively communicate work progress to supervisors
  • Keep accurate records of vehicle repairs and services done as an MOT Technician
  • Assist with fault diagnosis and repairs as required
  • Adhere to manufacturer procedures and standards
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and professionalism 
Requirements of an MOT Technician:
  • Proven experience as a vehicle technician or MOT tester
  • NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enthusiastic attitude and drive to build a career within the motor trade
  • Knowledge of manufacturer procedures is desirable
  • Dedicated to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service
