Our client is seeking an experiencedĀ MOTĀ TesterĀ to join their busy Service Department in Bootle. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional workshop offering strong earning potential, ongoing development, and long-term career progression.
The Role
As anĀ MOTĀ Tester, you will be responsible for carrying outĀ MOTĀ inspections in line with DVSA regulations, identifying vehicle defects, and ensuring vehicles meet all roadworthiness and emissions standards.
Key Responsibilities
- ConductĀ MOTĀ tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance
- Identify and report faults and defects accurately
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Work closely with the workshop team to ensure efficient vehicle throughput
- ValidĀ MOTĀ TesterĀ Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience as anĀ MOTĀ Tester
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ā£35,000 basic salary
- OTE of Ā£40,000
- Full-time, permanent position
