We are currently seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a well-established automotive service centre in Colchester, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to further their career within a reputable business that values quality and customer satisfaction. The MOT Tester will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

  • Competitive basic salary ranging between £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekends required

Duties:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with the latest guidelines and standards
  • Carry out light service and repair duties when necessary, particularly when not undertaking MOTs
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high industry standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and completion of test reports
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid MOT Tester qualification, with experience in performing MOT tests
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Reliable and professional approach to work
