Our client, a busy and well-established bodyshop based in Gants Hill, Ilford, is currently seeking an experienced Spray Painter / Bodyshop Technician to join their team.
The successful candidate will be confident and experienced in all aspects of vehicle bodyshop work, including stripping, fitting, spray painting, and flatting and polishing to a high standard.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stripping and fitting vehicle components
- Preparing vehicles and panels for paint
- Spray painting and colour matching
- Blending and refinishing work
- Flatting and polishing completed repairs
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines
- Previous bodyshop experience is essential
- Strong spray painting skills
- Experience in vehicle stripping and fitting
- Ability to flat and polish paintwork to a high standard
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
