Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a New Business Account Manager to join their Bradford office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to develop new business opportunities while building long-term relationships with organisations across Yorkshire and the wider UK.
The Opportunity
As a New Business Account Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities by introducing prospective customers to a broad portfolio of IT solutions and managed services. Taking a consultative approach, you'll engage with businesses to understand their technology challenges before recommending tailored solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Working alongside experienced technical consultants and professional services teams, you'll have access to a comprehensive range of technologies and services, allowing you to position yourself as a trusted technology advisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting and business development activity.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers across a range of industries.
- Identify opportunities across managed IT services, cyber security, cloud solutions, infrastructure, backup, storage, networking, software licensing, procurement and professional services.
- Deliver consultative sales presentations and tailored proposals that address customer requirements.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to design bespoke technology solutions.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management and sales forecasting.
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and performance targets.
About You
- Previous experience in a New Business, Business Development or Account Management role within Managed IT Services, IT Solutions, Technology, Infrastructure or Telecommunications.
- Proven success in winning new business and developing long-term client relationships.
- Good understanding of managed services, cloud technologies, cyber security and IT infrastructure solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- A consultative sales approach with the ability to uncover customer challenges and provide value-led solutions.
- Self-motivated, organised and target-driven with a genuine passion for technology.
