We're looking for a driven, sales focused New Business Manager with experience in contract recruitment to help grow our contract recruitment offering across the South of England.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant, Business Development Consultant, Recruitment Sales Professional, or New Business Specialist who enjoys building relationships, opening doors, and securing new recruitment partnerships.
Whether you're currently working as a 360 Recruitment Consultant or a 180 Recruitment Consultant with a strong focus on new business development, we'd love to hear from you.
Previous experience within Engineering Recruitment would be advantageous, however, we welcome applications from individuals with a successful background in any recruitment sector, provided you have experience developing and winning contract recruitment business.
The Role
As our Contract Recruitment New Business Manager, your primary focus will be winning new contract recruitment clients throughout the South of England.
You'll be provided with a targeted prospect list from day one, including both new organisations and lapsed clients who have previously partnered with us. This means you'll have immediate opportunities to generate activity, build relationships and secure new recruitment business.
This is a true business development role where success will be measured by your ability to generate meetings, build relationships and convert opportunities into long-term recruitment partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Winning new contract recruitment business across the South of England.
- Developing relationships with hiring managers, business leaders and key decision-makers.
- Identifying opportunities for contract recruitment solutions within existing target markets.
- Re-engaging lapsed recruitment clients and converting them into active accounts.
- Managing the full recruitment sales cycle from initial contact through to signed business.
- Attending client meetings and networking events.
- Building a robust pipeline of recruitment opportunities.
- Working closely with internal recruitment delivery teams to ensure outstanding client service.
- Achieving and exceeding agreed recruitment sales targets.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience within the recruitment industry.
- Proven success in winning new recruitment business.
- Background as either:
- A 360 Recruitment Consultant, or
- A 180 Recruitment Consultant focused heavily on business development.
- Contract recruitment experience.
- Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Access to your own vehicle.
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Reading office.
