Location: Remote (UK) – Covering West Midlands, Wales & South West (Regular regional travel and overnight stays required)
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 + Generous Bonus
Contract: Full-time | Permanent

The Role
As Regional Account Manager, you will take ownership of an established portfolio of customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities across your region.
Working consultatively with education providers and employers, you will develop strong relationships, maximise account growth, retain existing business and introduce new products and services that support customer needs.
This is a field-based role combining account management, business development and strategic sales planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an established portfolio of customer accounts across your region.
- Build long-term relationships with colleges, training providers, employers and education organisations.
- Generate new business opportunities and secure new customer accounts.
- Achieve regional sales, retention and growth targets.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts.
- Deliver consultative sales presentations to senior stakeholders and decision makers.
- Maintain an active pipeline of new business opportunities using CRM systems.
- Attend customer meetings, networking events and industry conferences.
- Develop regional sales plans aligned with commercial objectives.
- Work closely with marketing and customer service teams to maximise customer engagement.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Accurately forecast sales activity and report on pipeline performance.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Travel extensively across your region, including overnight stays where required.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an ambitious sales professional who combines strong relationship management skills with the drive to win new business.
You will have:
- Proven experience within Account Management, Business Development, Commercial Sales or Employer Engagement.
- A successful track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Experience managing customer accounts and developing long-term partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling ability.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently within a field-based role.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable
- Experience working within Education, Further Education, Awarding Organisations, Apprenticeships or the Skills sector.
- Experience selling education products, qualifications or training solutions.
