Nursery Practitioner Level 3

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
• Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
• Foster a caring and inclusive environment that supports individual needs
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
• Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through personalised care
• Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily routines and special events
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and behaviour
• Assist with organising the nursery environment to ensure it is safe, clean, and stimulating
• Take on leadership responsibilities such as mentoring new staff or interns when required
• Drive company vehicles for nursery-related activities if necessary

Experience

• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
• Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is desirable
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities
• Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children or supplies as needed
