Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a motivated and organised Office Administrator to join their friendly team in Braintree. The Role

As the Office Administrator, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Working closely with Sales, Technical and Operations teams, you'll ensure customers receive exceptional service.



Key Duties

  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Preparing quotations and sales documentation.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries.
  • Attending to customer emails professionally and promptly.
  • Providing administrative assistance to the Sales and Technical teams.
    • Maintaining accurate customer records and filing systems.
    • Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.
    • Assisting with scheduling, documentation and general office administration.
    • Liaising with the wider team on day-to-day operational tasks.
    • Maintaining a professional, organised and welcoming office environment.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    • Previous experience in an office administration or customer service role.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
    • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
    • A willingness to learn and develop.


    • Desirable

      • Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
      • Experience using Sage or similar order processing software.
