Operations Administrator - Join a Leading UK Packaging Business

Adecco are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised packaging manufacturer and supplier based in Yate. Operating across multiple sites throughout the UK, our client is a market leader within their sector, providing innovative packaging solutions to a diverse customer base.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support their busy Sales and Operations teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, communication, and customer service are key.



The Role

As an Operations Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the sales support function, acting as a key link between customers, sales representatives, production, and logistics teams.



Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the Sales Team
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Managing and updating customer records on internal systems
  • Coordinating with production and distribution teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Handling customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Preparing quotations, reports, and sales documentation
  • Monitoring stock availability and communicating updates to customers
  • Assisting with pricing, order tracking, and invoice queries
  • Supporting operational processes to improve service delivery
  • General office administration duties as required


About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience within an administrative, operations, sales support, or customer service role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience using ERP, CRM, or order processing systems would be advantageous
  • A positive, team-focused approach
