We are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join a growing and established business within the manufacturing and installation sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, hands-on environment and thrives on keeping operations organised, efficient and running smoothly.
Importantly, you do not necessarily need to already hold an Operations Manager title. Our client is very open to an ambitious individual with strong operational experience who can demonstrate the potential, drive and capability to develop into the management position.
The Role You will play a key role within the day-to-day operation of the business, helping to coordinate workloads, maintain efficient processes and ensure customers, orders and operational requirements are effectively managed.
The position will suit someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities are expected to include:
- Supporting and overseeing day-to-day business operations
- Coordinating workloads, schedules and operational priorities
- Ensuring orders and projects progress efficiently through the business
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Resolving operational issues and responding to changing priorities
- Monitoring processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
- Supporting the wider team and helping maintain high standards of service
- Taking increasing responsibility for the operational function as you develop within the role
You may already be an Operations Manager, or you could currently be working as an:
- Operations Coordinator
- Operations Supervisor
- Assistant Operations Manager
- Production Coordinator/Supervisor
- Installation Coordinator
- Senior Operations Administrator
- Logistics or Supply Chain Coordinator
You will ideally have:
- Strong operational and organisational experience
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Confidence managing multiple priorities at once
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- The ability to work effectively in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail
- The confidence and ambition to take on increasing levels of responsibility
- Previous experience within manufacturing, construction products, windows/doors, glazing or an installation-led environment would be advantageous but is not essential
- £30,000 – £35,000 salary
