P2P Lead - Northern Europe in Tottenham Court Road

GALENT are recruiting for a P2P Lead with a major international media organisation in Central London. This is a permanent senior leadership opportunity with an intentional first-six-month phase as Head of Accounts Payable, providing hands-on team and operational leadership before moving into a wider Northern European P2P mandate with involvement in global change.

The opportunity

Following the initial AP leadership phase, you will help govern end-to-end purchase-to-pay activity across Northern Europe, spanning invoice processing, purchase orders, vendor master data, payment controls and service performance. You will work with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax and the Global Process Owner to advance standardisation, SAP S/4HANA implementation, automation and continuous improvement.

What you will bring

• Senior P2P, AP or finance operations leadership experience in a multinational, GBS or shared services environment.

• Proven capability across countries and legal entities, including controls, compliance, supplier governance and payment operations.

• Experience influencing senior stakeholders, managing dispersed teams and improving KPIs and service delivery.

• Comfortable starting with a hands-on AP leadership remit before taking on wider process ownership.

• SAP/ERP and transformation experience preferred; an understanding of e-invoicing and automation is valuable.

Working arrangements and progression

Based in Central London, with three days a week in the office and very occasional late working. European travel will be required as the remit develops, potentially Monday–Thursday in Germany approximately monthly, with additional visits to markets such as Poland and the Netherlands.  The exact frequency will be confirmed.  The appointment is intended to progress from Head of AP into P2P Lead after approximately six months, subject to the agreed transition plan.
