Duties of the Panel Beater:
  • Assess vehicle panels for damage, determining repair and replacement needs
  • Remove damaged panels, ensuring proper alignment and fit
  • Shape, repair, and restore panels with tools such as hammers, dollies, and welding equipment
  • Apply fillers and prepare surfaces for painting
  • Conduct quality and safety checks on all repairs
  • Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, complying with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate repair progress and timelines to customers
  • Support team goals by adhering to operational protocols and standards
Requirements of the Panel Beater:
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • ATA Level 3 in Panel or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience working as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician, Body Technician, or Bodyshop Technician
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of vehicle repair procedures and health & safety standards
