Conveyancing Paralegal
Aberdeen City Centre | Permanent | Full-Time | Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Search Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected Law Firm in Aberdeen to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join a busy and successful Property team, managing their own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions while delivering exceptional client service throughout the property purchase and sale process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception through to completion
- Drafting and reviewing conveyancing documentation including dispositions, standard securities and registration forms
- Conducting title examinations and property searches
- Preparing completion statements and handling settlement transactions
- Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties throughout transactions
- Registering title deeds with Registers of Scotland
- Ensuring all files are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
- Providing updates and legal guidance to clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Supporting solicitors within the department as required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal within a Scottish legal firm
- Strong knowledge of Scottish residential conveyancing procedures and legislation
- Ability to independently manage a busy caseload
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
