Lynx Employment Services are recruiting 2 experienced Plumbers to work within local authority domestic properties across the Barnsley area.

The successful candidates will work as part of a Plumber/Joiner team, carrying out plumbing works within occupied and vacant domestic properties.

Duties will include:

  • General domestic plumbing, maintenance and repairs
  • Installation and replacement of baths, showers, wash basins, WCs and associated sanitary ware
  • Working alongside Joiners and other trades
  • Plumbing works associated with property adaptations
  • Providing a professional and customer-focused service when working in tenants' homes
  • The full specification requires candidates to have regular domestic plumbing experience and experience with different hot-water systems, showers and sanitary ware.

Essential requirements:

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent Relevant domestic plumbing experience Full UK driving licence Current CSCS card Good understanding of plumbing-related Health & Safety Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Desirable:

Previous experience working on property adaptations Local authority/social housing experience Multi-skilled experience Pay: £16.15 per hour Location: Barnsley Positions: 2
A work van is provided and will be shared between the two operatives for work purposes.
Candidates must be comfortable working within domestic properties and providing a professional service to residents.
