Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Baston House School, Bromley, Kent, BR2 7AB
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday–Friday | 8.30am - 4.30pm
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: November 2026

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary SEN Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is more than just a teaching role. You'll teach small classes, build meaningful relationships with students, and be part of a collaborative team that celebrates every achievement, no matter how big or small.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support students to achieve positive academic, social and emotional outcomes
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Develop and implement individual learning and behaviour support plans
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families to maximise student success
- Monitor progress and celebrate achievements, helping every student build confidence and independence
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and emotional regulation
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent required
- Passionate about supporting children with SEN to reach their full potential
- Creative, resilient and adaptable in your approach to teaching
- Able to build positive relationships and inspire confidence in students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning experience
About Us
Baston House School is an independent day specialist school in Bromley, Kent, supporting children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated needs. The school provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where students are fully included in all aspects of school life. Our focus is on developing academic skills, social understanding, emotional wellbeing, and independence, enabling each student to achieve positive outcomes and prepare for their next steps. At Outcomes First Schools, we provide specialist education for learners who need a deeper level of understanding, expertise and support than mainstream education can typically offer.
