A well-established London law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its expanding Private Client team in Whitechapel.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to manage a varied and complex caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth of the department. The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, tax planning and Court of Protection work.



The Private Client Solicitor's Role

The successful Private Client Solicitor will manage their own caseload and provide high-quality advice to individuals and families across a range of private client matters.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload covering wills, probate, trusts, tax and Court of Protection matters
  • Advising clients on complex estate planning and inheritance tax matters
  • Drafting wills, trusts and associated legal documents
  • Handling probate and estate administration matters
  • Advising on deputyships and Court of Protection matters
  • Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Supporting the continued development and growth of the Private Client team
  • Contributing to business development activities and strengthening client relationships
  • Maintaining high standards of client care, compliance and file management


The Private Client Solicitor

  • 5+ years' post-qualification experience in Private Client law
  • Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts and tax matters
  • Experience with Court of Protection and deputyship matters desirable
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Commercially aware with an interest in business development
  • Strong client care and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using case management systems and legal technology
