JOB DESCRIPTION
We have a new opportunity for a Project Delivery Resident Liaison Officer to join the Building Safety Team in London on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Regional Programme Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of building safety projects and acting as the main point of contact between residents, contractors and colleagues throughout investigations, remediation works and installations.
Working closely with internal teams and external contractors, you will support the successful delivery of building safety programmes by managing resident communications, coordinating engagement activities, handling customer feedback and maintaining accurate project records. You will also contribute to the resolution of complaints and help ensure a positive resident experience throughout the delivery of works.
This role requires regular travel to sites across the UK and therefore requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the essential criteria:
- Proven ability to manage resident relationships and communications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience of working with resident panels, customer groups or external agencies, ideally within Residential Social Landlords.
- A proactive approach to customer service.
- Experience of influencing and negotiating with stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience of budget management and cost control.
- Experience of handling complaints and customer feedback in a collaborative manner.
- Understanding of social housing legislation and tenancy management.
- Awareness of health and safety legislation and policy.
