Want to deliver a major high-voltage underground cable project while supporting the UK's growing electricity transmission network?

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the main civils package on a major HV underground transmission cable route in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a large-scale infrastructure project, taking responsibility for programme delivery, commercial performance and site operations from start to finish.

Job Role
As Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of the civils package, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will manage site teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders while coordinating programme delivery, commercial performance and project risks. Working closely with engineering and commercial teams, you will ensure the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Project Manager position within civil engineering or energy infrastructure
  • Previous experience delivering HV underground cable or transmission infrastructure projects is preferred
  • Experience managing major civils packages as the main contractor
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial project delivery
  • Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and client relationships
  • Relevant Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
  • CSCS Card
  • Strong leadership and communication skills


We are interviewing for this position immediately, with a planned project start in the coming months and flexibility to bring the successful candidate on earlier. The role is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.
