The Opportunity Our client is a well-established and highly regarded conveyancing firm with offices in Northampton and Bedford. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Property Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within residential conveyancing. You'll gain exposure to the full conveyancing process while working alongside experienced professionals who are committed to supporting your development and progression.
The role is ideally suited to candidates with 6–12 months' administration experience, particularly within a legal or property environment. However, applications are also welcomed from Law graduates who are eager to begin their career in conveyancing and are looking for a firm that will invest in their future.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Conveyancing team throughout the transaction process.
- Opening new client files and preparing associated documentation.
- Uploading and maintaining documents on the firm's case management system.
- Allocating incoming post and correspondence to the relevant departments.
- Carrying out general administrative duties, including filing and document management.
- Supporting the smooth progression of conveyancing matters through accurate and efficient administration.
- Assisting the wider team to ensure an exceptional level of client service is maintained.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an office environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive, proactive approach and a genuine desire to build a career within conveyancing.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
- A law firm, conveyancing practice, estate agency, mortgage provider or financial services business.
- A basic understanding of the residential conveyancing process, including post-completion work.
- Previous roles such as Conveyancing Assistant, Property Assistant, Sales Progressor, Estate Agent, Sales Negotiator, Mortgage Administrator, Customer Service Advisor or Residential Property Paralegal.
