PSV/Bus Technician

Job Role: PSV/Bus Technician

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary Rate: £18.64 per hour to £27.97 per hour

Shift Timing: 5 days over 7 (early 6am-2pm and late 2pm-10pm) weekends on a rotation

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Rocket Staffing are currently recruiting experienced PSV/Bus Technician  to join a busy  team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals looking for long-term work with consistent hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
• Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices if applicable
• Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries where required
• Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair

Requirements:

• Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ (or City & Guilds equivalent) qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair?
• Do you have a flexible approach to work with the ability to multi skill?
• Are you a UK driving license holder? A PCV license is desirable however we can help you achieve this
