We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager (Electrical Bias) to join a leading contractor delivering major Data Centre projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with strong electrical knowledge and mission-critical experience to take ownership of quality assurance and quality control activities on a high-profile project.
As QA/QC Manager, you will lead and coordinate all site quality activities, ensuring installations meet project specifications, client expectations, and industry standards. Working closely with project management, subcontractors, clients, and the main contractor, you will drive quality performance from installation through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the site QA/QC team and coordinate quality activities across the project.
- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Review project specifications, drawings, and installation standards.
- Oversee inspections, testing, and quality verification processes across electrical systems.
- Coordinate system walk-downs and quality inspections with clients and subcontractors.
- Generate, manage, and close out punch lists and quality observations.
- Monitor subcontractor quality performance and manage non-conformances through to close-out.
- Attend and lead quality meetings with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
- Produce quality metrics and reports for project stakeholders.
- Ensure all quality documentation and handover records are completed and maintained to the highest standard.
- Provide guidance and support to QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors on site.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of quality excellence.
- Previous experience as a QA/QC Manager, Senior QA/QC Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong electrical background within large-scale construction projects.
- Experience delivering Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or M&E projects.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, inspection regimes, and handover procedures.
- Experience managing inspections, punch lists, and non-conformance processes.
- Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and reporting skills.
- Data Centre project experience.
- Mechanical and Electrical project knowledge.
- Experience working for a specialist MEP contractor.
- Relevant quality management qualifications.
