Quality Inspector – Pontypool
£13.98 per hour | £1000 Bonus Available | Immediate Start Available

Nu Staff are recruiting for Quality Inspectors to join a leading manufacturing business based in Pontypool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality to join a busy production environment on a major project running through until December.

This is a 6-month project, with a £1000 completion bonus available for candidates who successfully complete the project and meet the required criteria.

Hours of Work

Day Shift (Training Period):
Monday to Thursday: 7:00AM – 4:00PM
Friday: 7:00AM – 1:00PM

Pay

£13.98 per hour

Bonus Opportunity

£1000 bonus payment upon successful completion of the (subject to attendance, performance, and client criteria being met).

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting components and finished products against quality standards
• Conducting visual and dimensional checks using measuring equipment
• Identifying defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns
• Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining quality documentation
• Supporting production teams to ensure quality requirements are achieved
• Assisting with investigations into quality issues and corrective actions
• Ensuring products meet customer and company specifications
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the inspection area
• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and specifications
• Good communication and record-keeping skills
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
