Quantity Surveyor

You'll provide commercial support for modular access and scaffolding services, with a particular focus on schedules of rates, applications for payment, labour records and cost control under JCT and NEC contracts.
The Role
As the Quantity Surveyor, you'll:
- Prepare and assess applications for payment against agreed contract terms.
- Manage schedules of rates for modular access and scaffolding services.
- Review subcontractor timesheets, labour records and associated commercial costs.
- Produce cost reports and monitor project budgets against forecasts.
- Work with site teams and contractors to resolve commercial issues.
- Maintain commercial compliance with relevant JCT and NEC contract requirements.
To be successful as the Quantity Surveyor, you'll have:
- Proven quantity surveying experience supporting large-scale construction or engineering projects.
- Strong experience managing schedules of rates and applications for payment.
- Experience reviewing timesheets, labour records and associated project costs.
- Good working knowledge of JCT and NEC contract requirements.
- Strong commercial, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with modular access or scaffolding services would be advantageous.
- £350–£400 per day, Outside IR35.
- Home-based contract.
- Exposure to major semiconductor and data centre projects across Europe.
- Commercial responsibility across specialist modular access and scaffolding packages.
