About the Opportunity
An established Irish Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a hyperscale data centre project in Dunstable.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager, the Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and contractual management of key work packages, helping to ensure the project is delivered safely, profitably, and in line with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of monthly valuations and payment applications.
- Support the commercial management of subcontractor packages, including procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Assist with cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Monitor and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Review contract documentation and support contract administration activities.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Prepare detailed commercial reports for project and senior management teams.
- Liaise with site, design, procurement, and project delivery teams.
- Support the successful commercial delivery of a large-scale mission-critical construction project.
- Maintain accurate records and commercial documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- 3+ years' experience within the construction industry.
- Previous experience working with a main contractor or specialist contractor.
- Experience delivering commercial aspects of construction projects.
- Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, logistics, or major infrastructure experience would be advantageous.
- Good contractual and commercial awareness.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in commercial reporting and cost management systems.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
