Pay: From £14.25 per hour (Level 2)
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Longridge from September.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive Early Years team, working alongside a well-established and experienced Reception teacher to help provide an engaging and nurturing learning environment.
The successful candidate will:- Hold a Level 2 (or above) childcare-related qualification.
- Have recent experience supporting children with Speech and Language needs.
- Be confident delivering phonics interventions and small group sessions.
- Enjoy working collaboratively with an experienced Early Years teacher.
- Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Be proactive, patient, and passionate about supporting young children's learning and development.
- Supporting children in Reception both in class and through targeted interventions.
- Delivering phonics sessions to small groups.
- Providing tailored support for pupils with Speech and Language needs.
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to support pupil progress.
- A friendly and welcoming school community.
- A supportive and experienced Early Years team.
- On-site parking.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
