Refuse Loader in Maidstone, Kent

Location: Maidstone
Pay: £14.57 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–4:00pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for Refuse Loaders to join a busy waste and recycling operation in Maidstone.

You will work as part of a refuse collection crew, helping to collect waste from residential and commercial properties.

Duties will include:

• Loading bins onto the refuse collection vehicle
• Working as part of a team with the driver and other loaders
• Collecting and emptying waste bins
• Following designated collection routes
• Working safely and following site procedures
• Maintaining good standards of health and safety
• Manual handling throughout the shift

• Previous refuse/waste experience is preferred but not essential
• Physically fit due to the manual nature of the role
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good team-working skills
• Good understanding of health and safety
