Are you an experienced Registered Care Home Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a well-established residential care home?

We’re recruiting on behalf of an established care provider for a Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized residential care home in Havant, Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Home Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and creating a positive environment for residents, families and staff.

The Role

As Registered Care Home Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the home, providing strong leadership to the team and ensuring residents receive consistently high standards of care.

You’ll lead from the front, creating a positive culture within the home while maintaining strong standards across care, compliance, staffing, occupancy and financial performance.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll have the autonomy to lead and develop the service while receiving the support needed to ensure the home continues to perform successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the residential care home

• Provide strong, visible leadership to the care and management teams

• Ensure consistently high standards of person-centred care for all residents

• Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies

• Lead, motivate and develop the team to create a positive and supportive working culture

• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and documentation are maintained to a high standard

• Oversee recruitment, retention, supervision and development of staff

• Build strong relationships with residents, relatives and external healthcare professionals

• Manage budgets, staffing levels and resources effectively

• Support and maintain strong occupancy within the home

• Drive continuous improvement across quality, care and operational performance

• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and regulatory requirements are consistently met

About You

We’re looking for an experienced care professional who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager within elderly residential care

• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards

• A proven track record of leading and developing care teams

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Experience maintaining or improving standards within a care home

• Good commercial awareness, including budgets, staffing and occupancy

• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, staff and external professionals

• A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable

Salary & Package

• £45,000 – £49,000 per annum

• Full-time, permanent position
