Registered Care Home Manager – Carmarthen

An excellent opportunity has arisen in Carmarthen for a dedicated Registered Care Home Manager to oversee a reputable care home providing compassionate residential services. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary of £56,000 to £60,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

As a Care Home Manager in Carmarthen, you will be responsible for leading a talented team, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring outstanding standards of care. You will oversee all operational aspects, including staff supervision, financial management, and resident well-being, ensuring that care delivery aligns with CIW regulations and RISCA standards. Your leadership will foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes resident dignity, safety, and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities for the Care Home Manager in Carmarthen include:

  • Leading and inspiring staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Promoting a professional, supportive, and resident-focused culture
  • Organising effective governance, audits, and documentation
  • Managing staffing levels, recruitment, and staff development
  • Overseeing daily operations, budgets, and resource management
  • Building strong relationships with residents and relatives
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and preparing for inspections

The successful candidate will have:

  • Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Registered status or eligibility with Social Care Wales
  • Previous experience as a Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Manager
  • Solid knowledge of CIW regulations and RISCA standards
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A compassionate, resident-centred approach
