Registered Manager - Children's Care Home

T3AM Global are recruiting on behalf of a newly established children's care home in Tooting, South West London, which forms part of a larger and well-respected care group.

The group has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care across multiple services and is continuing to invest in new homes as part of its wider growth plans.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to take ownership of a brand-new home from the outset, with the backing, resources and support of an established care organisation behind you.

You will have significant autonomy to shape the service, build your own team and establish the culture and standards of the home, while working directly with the Managing Director and senior leadership team.

As Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and running the new service from the ground up.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have the autonomy to lead the home according to your professional vision while ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, compliance and outcomes for young people.

You will take responsibility for:

* Leading the setup, registration and successful opening of the new children's care home
* Recruiting, developing and leading a high-performing residential care team
* Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding requirements and regulatory frameworks
* Implementing effective operational systems, care plans and quality standards
* Creating a safe, supportive and nurturing culture for children and young people
* Working closely with the Managing Director, senior leadership, local authorities and external professionals
* Taking overall ownership of the home's performance, development, growth and reputation

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

* Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential care setting
* Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding and children's residential care standards
* Experience leading, developing and motivating residential care teams
* Strong operational, organisational and leadership capabilities
* A passion for creating safe, supportive and nurturing environments for children and young people

Other DESIRABLE qualities/skills include:

* Experience setting up, registering or turning around a children's home
* Experience working within a multi-site care group or growing organisation
* Knowledge of local authority frameworks and commissioning processes
* Ambition to progress into multi-site leadership or Directorship
* Experience contributing to the wider growth and development of residential care services

* £50,000-£70,000 salary, depending on experience
