Location: Chipping, Preston / PR3
Salary: £55,000 – £63,000 per annum + bonuses
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm + scheduled on-call
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

JP Healthcare Recruitment is supporting a growing children’s residential care provider in the recruitment of an experienced Registered Manager for a home in the PR3 area of Lancashire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced children’s residential care professional to lead and develop a strong staff team, create a positive culture within the home and deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the children's home
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing residential care team
• Maintain a safe, structured and nurturing environment
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
• Oversee care quality, staff performance and service development
• Build strong relationships with children, families, social workers and external professionals
• Drive continuous improvement and strong Ofsted outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ senior experience within children’s EBD residential care
• Previous leadership or management experience within a children’s home
• Experience with Ofsted registration, inspections or both
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Level 5 Leadership & Management preferred, or willingness to complete
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK

A strong track record of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes would be highly desirable.
