Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Reliability Engineer for a newly created position.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys driving continuous improvement rather than simply reacting to breakdowns. The business is investing in reliability and asset performance, giving you the opportunity to shape maintenance strategies, reduce recurring issues and make a lasting impact across the site.
Working closely with the maintenance, production and quality teams, you'll lead root cause analysis, improve planned maintenance activities and introduce reliability best practices to maximise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
What will your day to day look like?- Lead root cause analysis to identify and eliminate repeat equipment failures.
- Develop and improve planned preventative maintenance strategies.
- Analyse downtime trends and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and production performance.
- Support the development of reliability-centred maintenance practices.
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering and quality teams to improve asset performance.
- Coach and support the maintenance team in reliability and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Help develop long-term maintenance and asset care strategies.
- Previous experience in a Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor or similar engineering role.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment such as FMCG, packaging, food, building products, automotive or similar.
- Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
- A multi-skilled engineering background with an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Good communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering and production.
- Permanent Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm shift.
