An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a successful automotive dealership in Honiton. This role is perfect for a proven leader who can inspire a sales team, drive performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while maximising profitability.
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales department, coaching and developing the team, and ensuring all targets and objectives are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Drive new and used vehicle sales performance to achieve departmental targets.
- Monitor and manage sales processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Support the team in closing deals and maximising every sales opportunity.
- Manage stock levels, vehicle pricing, and profitability.
- Oversee finance and insurance performance in line with regulatory requirements.
- Analyse sales data and implement strategies to improve results.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members where required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Business Manager, Transaction Manager, or Senior Sales Executive within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coaching abilities.
- Commercially aware with a strong focus on profitability.
- Highly organised and results-driven.
- Full UK driving licence.
