We, Academics, are looking for a experience SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of our highly esteemed schools in the B75 area. The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience in a Reception classroom.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide engaging 1-to-1 sessions for pupil/s with SEND
• Support pupils learning, communication and social development both inside and outside the classroom
• Work closely with both the SENDCO and teacher to deliver relevant and tailored learning plans
• The role may include assisting with personal care, therefore candidates must be able to support the pupils personal care needs with patience and compassion

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting
• Holds an Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
• Has relevant qualifications or experience
• Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
