Experienced SENCO | Secondary SEND | Haringey | November 2026 or January 2027 Start

Reeson Education is recruiting an experienced SENCO for an established all-through primary and secondary school in Haringey.

The successful candidate will join the secondary phase and take a leading role in ensuring pupils with SEND receive the right support, whilst working collaboratively with teaching staff, families, senior leaders and external professionals.

As the school's SENCO, you will be responsible for driving high-quality SEND provision across the secondary phase.

Your role will include:

SEND Leadership

• Coordinating and monitoring SEND provision
• Supporting the development of inclusive teaching practice
• Advising teachers and support staff on appropriate strategies
• Contributing to the wider SEND strategy across the school

Pupil Support

• Monitoring pupils with additional needs
• Reviewing provision and interventions
• Supporting EHCP processes and annual reviews
• Helping staff understand and respond effectively to individual needs

Partnership Working

• Building positive relationships with parents and carers
• Liaising with external agencies and professionals
• Working closely with school leaders and colleagues across the all-through setting

The school requires an experienced SENCO with:

• Previous SENCO experience in a UK-based school - essential
• Secondary school experience
• Strong understanding of SEND procedures and legislation
• Experience with EHCPs and annual reviews
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to lead, advise and collaborate effectively
• A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for pupils with SEND

The school is approximately 5 minutes from the nearest station, with easy access via the Victoria Line and a number of local bus routes.
