I’m working with an established main contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the delivery team on a new build care home development in Witham.
This is a site-based opportunity for an experienced QS who enjoys being close to project delivery, taking commercial ownership and working directly alongside the operational team.
The Role
- Commercial lead on a new build care home project
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- CVRs, valuations, variations and cost reporting
- Managing subcontractor payments and accounts
- Commercial management through to final account
- Working closely with the Project and Contracts Managers
What they’re looking for
- Senior Quantity Surveyor with main contractor experience
- Care home, residential or similar new build experience
- Strong procurement and package management capability
- Confident with CVRs, valuations and commercial reporting
- Site-based, proactive and comfortable taking ownership
